We’re excited to feature another AfterCollege success story. Michael Woods, a Management Information Systems major from Winston-Salem State University who graduated in May 2013, will be starting as a Customer Support Analyst at Aptean in Atlanta this July.

How did you go about your job search?

I created a profile on AfterCollege and submitted my résumé online.

How long did your job search take?

Two months.

How did you become interested in your field?

My father always worked on computers.

What are you most looking forward to about your new job?

New experience, new place, new people.

What advice would you give to college students who are interested in pursuing a career in your field?

Network and market yourself.
